Today, Parliament should have been voting on Theresa May’s Brexit deal.

Instead after yesterday’s shambolic back-down, the Prime Minister has shredded what little credibility she had left. She sent her Cabinet Ministers out yesterday morning to insist that the vote on her disastrous deal would still be going ahead, even though she had already decided to pull the vote.

It has been obvious to everyone that Theresa May has been botching Brexit from the beginning, but she chose to plough ahead anyway. We cannot continue with this Prime Minister at the helm any longer, and she must step aside, so that we can get a Labour Government that will invest in our future.
