In the run up to Bonfire Night, I joined a coalition of charities including PTSDuk and Dog’s Trust to call on the Government to conduct a review of existing fireworks legislation to restrict their use to just public firework displays, such as Wirral’s River of Light.

Hopefully this will limit the unnecessary distress that so many people and animals can suffer during fireworks celebrations.
